The Samsung H1 Vodafone 360 is an impressive and comprehensively featured mobile phone from the Samsung stable. Released in November 2009 it has proved to be a phone which has offered a viable alternative to other high specification smart phones. It provides a wide variety of functionality as well as smart phone technology encased within a casing which is compact in size. In fact it measures 115 mm x 58 mm wide and is only 12 mm thick. The phone utilises the ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz CPU as well as offering powerVR SGX graphics capability. The LiMo operating system is provided and utilised to great effect within this handset. All of these elements ensure that its multitasking capabilities and functionality are maximised. A 3.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen is provided, which is able display 16 million colours at a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. At this level of resolution and colour availability, images are displayed with excellent colour reproduction and vibrancy. As its primary means of accessing functionality the handset utilises a 3-D user interface which is responsive, intuitive and fun to use. A 5.0 mega pixel camera is included and operates at 2560 x 1920 pixels and comes bundled with autofocus and an LED flash. However its most popular element may well be its ability to record video at HD quality and at 30 frames per second. This provides a suitable alternative to photo taking and is one that has become increasingly popular in recent years. Internal memory in this handset is 16 GB, whilst by utilising the integrated microSD card slot this can be further expanded upon up to a further 16 GB.
